About $1 million in sales and almost 30 thousand copies sold in the first month of release - Rune Factory 5 launched on Steam
The novelty of the Rune Factory series - Rune Factory 5 was released on Steam on July 13, 2022, and, according to GameSensor’s estimation, almost 30 thousand copies were sold on the platform during the first month of release. Sales of the game for the same month amounted to about $1 million.
The novelty's rating on Steam is 4 stars out of 5. The PC version of Rune Factory 5 does not yet have a rating by players on the aggregator website Metacritic due to the small number of reviews. However, critics on the same website have already tested the game, giving it 74 points out of 100 possible.
Rune Factory 5 was developed by Marvelous Inc. The publishing duties were shared between Marvelous, Marvelous USA, Inc. and XSEED Games.
If the fifth part of the Rune Factory series is compared to its previous fourth part, then the sales of Rune Factory 5 in the first month of release are almost twice the amount of sales of Rune Factory 4 Special for the same period of time. However, as for the installations during the first month of release, their number is the same in both parts of the game.
About half of the Rune Factory 5 audience on Steam are English-speaking players. Chinese is spoken by 30% of users, and Japanese - almost 7%. The rest of the players speak Korean, German and other languages.
The Rune Factory 5 game is available on PC and Nintendo Switch consoles.
