In its first week of release alone, sales of the ported PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man on Steam totaled nearly $34 million, according to GameSensor estimation.
The updated game, developed by Insomniac Games and Nixxes software studios and released by PlayStation PC LLC, was purchased by about 700 thousand platformers during its first seven days of release.
If the novelty is compared to developer Insomniac Games' previous project, Sunset Overdrive, sales of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on Steam, collected in the first week of release, are 11 times the revenue of Sunset Overdrive, which has been sold on the platform for over 3 years.
The majority of players who purchased Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on Steam are English-speaking. They account for over 60% of the game's total audience. Almost 10% of players speak Chinese. The rest of the audience speaks Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, and other languages.
