Sales of Hood: Outlaws & Legends on Steam amounted to about $2 million in sales in the first month of release
According to GameSensor’s estimation, the new Hood: Outlaws & Legends from Sumo Digital studio sold almost 100 thousand copies in the first month of release on Steam. During the same time, sales of the game on the platform amounted to about $2 million.
Steam users rated the novelty mediocrely, giving it 3 stars out of 5. The rating of the PC version of the game from critics on the aggregator website Metacritic is 62 points out of 100 possible. Players on the same site gave Hood Outlaws and Legends only 3.4 points out of 10. According to them, the game has a bad combat system and there weren’t enough characters.
The game was developed by Sumo Digital studio, for which this is the 7th project on Steam. Hood: Outlaws & Legends is published by Focus Entertainment.
If we compare the novelty with the developer's previous game on Steam, the revenue of Hood: Outlaws & Legends for the first month of release is almost three times higher than the sales of Team Sonic Racing™ for the same period. As for the number of copies sold within a month of release, the new game has 6 times more than Team Sonic Racing™.
