The result of Going Medieval in early access on Steam in the first month of release was almost $2 million in sales and about 100 thousand copies sold

The Going Medieval simulator from Foxy Voxel was released on Steam during the early access stage on June 1, 2021. According to GameSensor's estimation, within a month of release, platform players purchased about 100 thousand copies of the game. Sales of the novelty during the same time on Steam amounted to almost $2 million.
The Going Medieval game has received positive reviews from Steam users: the game's rating on the platform is 4.5 stars out of 5. However, there is no rating on the aggregator website Metacritic yet, as Going Medieval is in early access on Steam.
For developer Foxy Voxel, this is the first project on the platform, but for publisher The Irregular Corporation, it is the sixth game on Steam. The most successful project of The Irregular Corporation in terms of sales is PC Building Simulator. If we compare it with the novelty in terms of sales for the first month of early access on Steam, Going Medieval is twice as successful as PC Building Simulator by this criterion. The number of sold copies of the novelty is also twice as higher than that of PC Building Simulator for the same period.
