Almost $5 million in sales and 100,000 copies sold for Ghostwire: Tokyo on Steam in its first month of release

According to GameSensor's forecast, Ghostwire: Tokyo sales numbers totaled nearly $5 million on Steam in the first month since its release. In terms of installations, the game has been bought and downloaded by nearly 100,000 players in that short period.

On Steam, users gave the game 4 stars out of 5. On Metacritic, the estimation of the PC version of the game by critics and ordinary players was a little different; critics gave it 77 points from 100, and as for the players, the score was more than 9 points out of 10.

The game was released on March 24, 2022, on PC and the next-generation Sony PlayStation 5 consoles. This is developer Tango Gameworks' fourth game and second release in the last 12 months.

When compared to the developer's other two paid games in terms of the number of copies sold in the first month of release, Ghostwire: Tokyo was purchased from Steam by almost as many players as The Evil Within 2. But if you compare the game to its demo version Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude in terms of installations, the paid Ghostwire: Tokyo was downloaded by almost 10 times more Steam users than its free trial version Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude in the first month since its release.
