About 100 thousand copies sold and almost $1 million in sales was the result of Ghost Watchers sales in early access on Steam during the first month of release
Ghost Watchers from Renderise studio was released on Steam at the early access stage on July 28, 2022. According to GameSensor's estimation, the platform players have purchased about 100 thousand copies of the game since its release. During the same time, sales of the novelty amounted to almost $1 million.
Ghost Watchers has received positive reviews from Steam users: its rating on the platform is a little more than 4 stars out of 5. The game is currently unavailable on the aggregator website Metacritic, as the game is still in early access.
The developer and publisher of Ghost Watchers is Renderise studio, for which this is the 7th project on Steam.
It took only a month for Ghost Watchers, which is in early access on Steam, to surpass all previous games of the developer in terms of sales. If you look at the general statistics of GameSensor, Ghost Watchers' revenue in early access on Steam is more than 50% of the sales of all games developed by Renderise.
For example, comparing the novelty with the previous game Occult from this studio, the number of sold copies of Ghost Watchers during the first month of release in early access on Steam is almost 10 times higher than that of Occult during the first month of release in full access. And if we compare the games in terms of sales for the same period, then according to this criterion, the novelty is about 30 times higher than Occult.
