F1® Manager 2022 revenue for the first month of release on Steam amounted to almost $5 million

The first part of the F1 Manager series and officially licensed management racing simulator F1® Manager 2022 was released on Steam on August 30, 2022. The game was developed by Frontier Developments, which also took on the responsibilities of the publisher.

The developers offer players a detailed level of career development that includes team selection, with the ability to poach opponents' personnel, allocate budgets among team members, improve cars in detail, and buy powerful and latest 2022 cars.

During the first month of the game's release date on Steam, according to GameSensor's estimations, F1® Manager 2022 sales amounted to almost $5 million. If we look at the number of F1® Manager 2022 copies sold, then during the same time, about 100 thousand users purchased the new product on the platform.

F1® Manager received mixed reviews and a 6.2 out of 10 score from players on the aggregator website Metacritic. According to them, despite the good graphics, the game is "very superficial," and some players said that "the racing cars behave like toy cars pushed by children." Critics on the same website gave the game 79 points out of 100. The game's rating on the Steam platform is 3.5 stars out of 5.

For Frontier Developments, the studio's previous project on the Steam platform, Jurassic World Evolution 2, was more successful in terms of sales in the first month of release, as F1® Manager 2022 revenue was almost 30% less than Jurassic World Evolution 2. However, the number of F1® Manager 2022 copies sold is the same as that of the studio's previous game on the platform.

In addition to PC, the new game is also available on Sony PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series consoles.
